About Embody

Embody supports people to thrive.

Embody Recovery is a London-founded, remote-first wellbeing company that delivers trauma-informed, lived-experience-led support.

The brand positions itself as an alternative to conventional clinical models, combining nervous-system-aware delivery, somatic approaches and pragmatic capacity-building to support high-performing, overextended individuals whose lives consistently outpace their support system.

Veering from soft wellness and creating, a bold alternative in the wellbeing space.

Why We Exist

Traditional wellbeing solutions often fail the people who need support the most: individuals under sustained pressure. High achievers, leaders, founders, professionals, those with fast-paced lives and immense responsibilities.

Many do not resonate with traditional wellness culture, and rarely find services that match their pace, intensity, or expectations.

Embody was created to close this gap.

We offer a framework that delivers noticeable improvements without compromising authenticity or individuality.

Strategic wellbeing for people who don’t want to burn out.

Our Mission

Our mission is to transform the experience of wellbeing and trauma recovery and make recovery accessible

Our vision is a world where support feels energising, engaging, and worth showing up for.

Founder & Director

Much of my life was spent navigating repeated traumas while carrying the expectation that I needed to keep functioning while my world  was collapsing.

Like many people who live under sustained pressure, I found ways to cope that worked…until they didn’t. Excessive drinking, disordered eating, over-training, relentless self-control in every area except the ones that mattered most. My discipline was never in question, yet I felt profoundly out of control.

It felt like I was constantly trying to run away from myself.

If you feel uncomfortable or in danger in normal life, you can get up and leave. But when you feel uncomfortable and in danger in yourself, you have to change your state of consciousness to just tolerate it.

Throughout school, employment,  university. Big, life changing things would happen, and life didn't stop, and life doesn't stop.

Relapsing felt safer than talking to anyone about it. There was no support system to fall back on, and asking for help often made things worse.

Addiction is widely condemned - clinically, socially, morally - but in my reality, it was the only reliable relief available. It didn’t judge, shame, leave, or have conditions. And that realisation when I began my clinical training in adulthood changed everything.

I repeatedly reached for help but found that, if offered at all, fell into two camps: cold and clinical, or soft and dismissive. Neither accounted for people who are capable, ambitious, and still struggling. Neither gave me what I needed. I've lost count of the amount of times that I've thought “I can't do this anymore” because recovery didn’t  feel possible in those frameworks. A better quality of life seemed impossible.

That's when relapses kick in. When it feels like there’s no other option.

In spite of all this, my ambition never faltered. I still wanted to succeed, be the best, recover, even if I had to work ten times as hard. Surrounded by figures of support who were rooting against me, telling me to aim lower, and give up. I endured severe PTSD symptoms, more relapses, more trauma, more setbacks. And I only wish Embody Recovery existed then. When I didn’t know what was going on, and I felt scared, misunderstood and hopeless.

Recovery doesn’t have to come at the cost of ambition. Drive and determination are wonderful virtues to be celebrated and protected, and they deserve better systems of support.

In a world that is convinced moderation and mindfulness is the only solution, stand back. This is Recovery Rebranded.
